2018 arctic encounter >> april 19-20, 2018 >> seattle, wa, usa

The Arctic Encounter's mission is to raise awareness for and about the Arctic region and the people who live there. We believe that there are many ways to do this, but one of the most compelling ways to educate people about the Arctic region is to show them the culture, art forms, and inspiration that come from this incredible region and the people who live there.

The Arctic Encounter is seeking artists to participate in and/or exhibit their art work, designs, or other textile creations at the conference on April 19-20, 2018. We are open to individual artists or creative companies from the Arctic or any northern territory, including Alaska and the Canadian sub-Arctic, et cetera.

Are you a performance artist? We'd like to know! Are you creating via inspiration from the Far North? We want to hear from you! This is an effort that is inclusive.

We will offer exhibit booths free of charge to interested artists on a first come first serve basis. The venue will permit artists and creators to sell all art work or textiles so long as nothing is consumable. The Arctic Encounter also wishes for 100% of sales to remain with the artist. This is our best attempt to include culture, to educate through the arts, and to inspire.

Please note that the Arctic Encounter and the Bell Harbor International Conference Center will not accept any liability for the art works presented or sold. We will have a liability disclosure form for all artist exhibitors to sign prior to the start of the conference. Thank you for your understanding.

We hope to hear from you! Please complete the form below to tell us more about you and your works. Thank you.
